Tilt Emulator

30 11 2008

We have been working in Multimedia Pioneering over the past couple weeks on a tilt emulator that converts the movements of an iPhone or other mobile device and produces 6 pieces of raw XML data (roll, tilt, pitch, yaw, translation etc).  By moving the iPhone prototype, we can actually manipulate the movement of images within Flash.  This is all been very exciting except in order to fully achieve the potentials of this technology, it is crucial that mobile devices become equipped with Flash.

Below find a link that will redirect you to Dan Zen’s tilt emulator video tutorial.  As well, you can scrub through the video to specific sections and discussions based on the video annotation I have created  using YaSeeSay.  Enjoy!!
